DT inspiration post

Hello friends,
Shivani here today to share inspirational post for this month's challenge plant love. So when I thought about this theme a lot of things came into my mind like flowers, leaves etc. But then I thought why not a plant itself. Well, not exactly a plant but a tree. With christmas around the corner I thought of making a Christmas tree. I have used green 3mm strips to make leaves and pasted on a green conical structure. My daughter is very excited to see this and happily has acquired it as her new toy.

I hope you will like my take on the challenge and will participate in our ongoing challenge.

Thank you
Shivani

DT post - Challenge no 32 - Plants love

Hello viewers of IQCG,
Today i am here to present my DT work for the current challenge "Plants love"
Please find my work below

I have created a home plant variety with colourful flowers and leaves bunch placed in a paper rolled basket.
Please find the challenge image here

About my work:
The basket was done using old magazine papers lying at home and the flowers and spiral leaves are done using 5 mm quilling strips in multiple colours. I started the work by creating around 40 nos of spiral leaves mostly in green shades , and glued them together. The flowers in different colours are then quilled and glued to their sides . Meanwhile while the flowers are given ample time to bond with the leaves all over the sides of the bunch , I quickly created a small paper basket rolling 15 to 20 magazine paper slices with an appropriate height to hold the plant fimly..Once the basket was done, the plant bunch was placed on it .I left the basket unpainted just on my choice.

Hope you all my work and looking forward to see all your creative entries this month.. Enter the challenge and link your projects here..  Good luck everyone.

Cheers ,

DT Inspiration IQCG # 32 - Plants

Hello Quillers!

The theme for this month's challenge is dedicated to the flora community of our mother nature. Now, don't be alarmed! It simply means that November's theme for IQCG challenge # 32 is PLANTS!!!

The project can contain plant or plant parts in the form of quilling. I decided to choose flowers as part of  plant to quill. Since of all flowers, roses have most enticing and mystic beauty so for this month's theme's inspiration post I decided to make quilled roses of pink and white.
(read my post to know how to make these)

I thought of  new layout, a Dreamcatcher. I made a dream-catcher and decorated it with my quilled pink and white roses. Here it is:

And finally here it is hanging over my bed for good, beautiful dreams.
(For the complete story behind this dream-catcher visit MY BLOG)
